Snow – Are You Ready?

8 inches of fresh powder Monday night.  The famous Tahoe tease, looks like winter, feels like winter, it’s not winter.  However, this is a great time of year to get organized with our winter toys and tools.   For example, make sure your equipment (backcountry gear) is safe and ready to roll.  Make a checklist and double check your gear to make sure you can trust it when needed.  Number one on my list is batteries and make sure your beacon is working correctly.   The Backcountry will win if you’re not prepared so do your part and get organized and make this winter season is a memorable one.
